This project is currently funded though a grant (JSPS 16K13556) funded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
The project is also being developed alongside a study, 'Mental Health Needs and Support for Multicultural & International Adolescents in Japan', which is investigating the need for and availability of culturally-sensitive social, emotional and mental health support for multicultural and international children and young people, particularly those living outside the greater Tokyo area. This research is being undertaken with aim of developing materials through which to share information to support those in need, and is being carried out in collaboration with Nagoya International School and in conjunction with workshops conducted by TELL (Tokyo English Lifeline).
