Social and Emotional Support for Multicultural and International Children in Japan

  • The conference is free of charge, but please register by April 15th.
  • ​The venue has wheelchair access.
  • There will be English and Japanese interpreting for most of the sessions.
  • Please let us know when you register if you would like interpreting in another language..
  • Light refreshments will be provided. 
  • Lunch may be purchased at the venue, or you are welcome to bring your own.

Parents, young people, mental health professionals, teachers and all others are very warmly invited to a day of talks, panel discussions and workshops related to social and emotional support for multicultural/international children, young people and families. This conference will be an opportunity for people from a variety of backgrounds to make connections, share information and resources and talk about a range of topics. This will be an inclusive event, and wherever possible language support will be available.
​The Keynote Presentation will be given by Dr. Jamie Hopkins: "Getting Out of Your Head: Mindful Strategies for Everyday Life"
